McAfee защитит мобильные устройтсва на Intel Atom Z5XX

Прошла новость о планах McAfee по разработке решений для Intel Atom processor Z5XX. Кроме этого McAfee заявила о планах интеграции своих продуктов шифрования данных с технологиями Intel Anti-Theft Technology и Active Management Technology.

McAfee, the security solutions provider, will provide integrated data encryption for laptops and integrated mobile content security for mobile internet devices (MIDs) based on the Intel Atom processor Z5XX series and Moblin-based software.

Additionally, the company announced plans to integrate its security encryption with Intel's Anti-Theft Technology and Active Management Technology to protect the data on a laptop in the event that it is stolen or an unauthorized user tries to access it.

McAfee's suite of mobile data protection solutions are designed to protect data, devices and networks against the risks associated with loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Its centralized management capabilities, the company claimed, will ensure low total cost of ownership to organizations.

This latest security initiative will place McAfee data encryption on the Intel VPro hardware leveraging Intel's Anti-Theft Technology to disable laptops booted without authorization. If a laptop is lost or stolen the device will automatically shut down when the unauthorized user tries to access the data.
